Product overview
The XC-EU50/EU50CE models are compact and light-weight cameras that have near-ultraviolet sensitivity in the i-line, or 365 nm, range. Examples of typical application areas are PCB and solder inspection, document proofing, microscopy, medical and cosmetics applications. The short wavelength allows the XC-EU50/EU50CE models to capture clearly very fine detail and surface structures, which cannot be detected using visible or IR lighting, including very small scratches, dust or blemishes, as well as special fluorescent materials.
Product features

Latest interline CCDs
XC-EU50/CE uses 1/2″ IT CCD of Sony’s latest interline technology.
Miniature size
The XC-EU Series comes in a very small (29 (W) x 29 (H) x 32 (D) mm) and lightweight package (only 50 g).
High sensitivity and S/N Ratio
The cameras offer high sensitivity: 0.3 lux (F1.4, max gain) and S/N Ratio (60 dB).
Ultraviolet capability
XC-EU50/CE model offers extended sensitivity in near-ultraviolet (300 to 420 nm) range.
Flexible functions
The XC-EU Series offers many flexible features, such as flexible trigger shutter functions, 2:1 interlace/non-interlace, frame/field
exposure, restart/reset function, readout on command, internal/external (HD/VD, VS) synchronisation, camera settings that
can be made at the rear panel and many more.
Standard interfacing
System integration is easy because of the miniature size, C mount, EIAJ standard 12-pin connector, single cable solution for
signal and power, single DC 12V power supply requirement and low power consumption of only 1.6 W (1/2 type).
Rugged construction
The XC-EU Series offers excellent vibration and shock tolerance (10G (20 ~ 200 Hz) / 70G) and a very impressive 126,000 hours
MTBF.
